Job Title: Phlebotomist III Float
Location: Pickerington, OH
Duration: 3 months
Shift Time: 7AM-530PM. All days Hrs/Wk:40.00

Job Overview:
The Phlebotomist III Float is the face of our organization, providing high-quality patient care while collecting blood samples for testing. This role requires expertise in phlebotomy, exceptional patient service, and the flexibility to cover multiple sites and functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Collect and process quality blood specimens following established procedures
Explain procedures and create a trusting, professional environment for patients
Float across multiple sites (Patient Service Centers, Long-Term Care, In-Office Phlebotomy, etc.)
Support daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate specimen collection and documentation
Provide leadership on-site: train, mentor, and support new staff and act as a point of contact
Deliver exceptional service in high-volume or complex practices
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Sales, Billing, IT, Logistics, Lab Services)
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient information

Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training (preferred)

Experience:
Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
At least 3 years in a PSC/IOP (Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy) setting (preferred)
Customer service experience in healthcare or retail (preferred)
