Shift Timing: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Pay Rate: $50.25/hour W2
Job Description:
The Quality Engineer II is responsible for supporting the site Quality Management System (QMS) and driving improvements across quality processes. This role provides oversight and ensures compliance with CAPA, NC, and Quality Planning processes while delivering experienced quality assurance support to manufacturing and product development teams.

Job Description:
The Quality Engineer II is responsible for supporting the site Quality Management System (QMS) and driving improvements across quality processes. This role provides oversight and ensures compliance with CAPA, NC, and Quality Planning processes while delivering experienced quality assurance support to manufacturing and product development teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Backlogging and managing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and NC (Non-Conformances), including complaints.
- Driving investigations to closure and ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
- Project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the QMS.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
- Experience: 4–6 years in quality engineering, preferably in a regulated industry (Medical Device preferred; Pharma and Aerospace acceptable).
- Skills: Knowledge of CAPA, NC, complaint handling, and QMS processes. Ability to manage projects and collaborate cross-functionally.
