Pay rate: $39.65/hr. on W2

Job Description:
We are seeking a scientist with a strong interest in immunology to join our early translational group in Lawrenceville, NJ. Our purpose is to support programs as they transition from discovery to a FIH study. The qualified candidate will process human samples, maintain the laboratory’s biobank (including sample storage and retrieval), and perform a range of experimental procedures under the guidance of senior scientists. The type of experiment will vary, depending on program needs.

Experimental techniques could include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Processing human tissue and blood
  • Cell-based assays
  • Flow cytometry
  • ELISAs/MSD assays
  • RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis
  • Gene expression array cards
Requirements:
  • Candidate should have a B.S or M.S in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or a related field with at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in an industry setting.
  • Hands-on experience with processing human blood for PBMCs
  • Ensure accurate recording of data into an electronic laboratory notebook.
  • The ideal candidate would be able to work independently, demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work as a member of a large cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and bioinformatics is desirable but not necessary.
