Job Title: Surgical Tech II
Job Location: Albany, NY 12208
Job Duration: 4-5 Months (possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: $50/hr. on W2
 
Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong expertise in neuro, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
• Candidates must hold a valid NBSTSA CST certification at the time of submission.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgeries.
• Assist surgical teams during procedures in neuro, thoracic, and vascular specialties.
• Ensure surgical instruments are sterilized and functioning properly.
• Maintain patient safety and aseptic techniques throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff.
• Handle surgical specimens and documentation as per protocol.

Education: 

• Completion of accredited surgical technologist program.

Certification: 

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (Required at time of submission)

Experience: 

• Minimum 2 years (Required).
• Candidates with 1 year experience must pass competency testing.
• Strong background in neuro, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
