Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Location: New York, NY
Job Duration: 13-week contract (Possibility of extension)
Shift: 3 pm – 11 pm Mon - Fri
Pay Range: $55/HOUR - $60/HOUR-W2
Job Description:
- Requires the utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.
- Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment to ensure the equipment is calibrated and working properly before any patient study is performed.
- Injects patients with radioactive material as per the physician’s order following the prescribed protocol.
- Observes all department documentation policies by filling in all appropriate logs, manuals, charge documents, as well as, reporting equipment problems to comply with regulatory agencies.
- Performs quality control, quality assurance and safety tests.
Requirements:
- Requirements include licensing with NYS DOH in Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, and BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of CT experience; Graduate of Radiologic Technologist.
- New York State License (L.R.T), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT and current CT certification)
