Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado
Shift: Mon - Thur 8:00Am - 5:30Pm & Fri 8:00Am - 12;00Pm
Duration: 1+ months of Contract with possible extension/temp to hire
Site: Charter Denver
Pay Range: $21/hr - $25/hr on W2
Job Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant supports both front and back office functions, including:

Greeting and rooming patients
-
Scheduling appointments
-
Answering phones
-
Taking vital signs
-
Drawing blood and administering vaccines
-
Providing additional clinical support as needed
Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 1 year medical assistant experience (excluding externship)
-
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
-
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
-
Phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
-
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
-
Proficient computer skills
-
Passion for health education, outreach, and making a difference
Required Skills:

Front and back office experience

EKG

Point of Care (POC) testing

Scheduling

Rooming patients
-
Taking vital signs
-
BLS or CPR certification (if not currently certified, candidate may start pending approval from Client)
Experience Required:
2 - 3 years
