Job Summary:
-The Social Worker works with the psychiatrist and interdisciplinary team in developing and managing treatment plans.
-Serves as liaison in relation to patient care and needs, between the hospital, community, and insurers to facilitate access to clinical treatment for individuals.
-Provides social services to both adult and child/adolescent patients.
-Services include but are not limited to bio-psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, individual and family education and group.
-Therapy Social Workers provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
-Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient centered timely, efficient and equitable.
-Social workers also serve on designated committees and as qualified, may serve as field instructors for social work.
Education:
Required Education:
-Graduation from an accredited school of social work with a master s degree.

This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K. Pay range: (USD)(USD)37 hrly - (USD)(USD)48 hrly.

Schedule Notes: REQUIRED: 2-3 years social work experience, Master's from accredited school of social work, current LMSW certification, Previous travel experience, Previous recent inpatient behavioral health experience, Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, Ability to perform intake assessment, Experience leading groups, Experience charting in EMR/EMH system. Preferred: EPIC charting experience, Discharge planning experience. Will be working in the Charles Anderson Building at Jackson main campus. 27 bed unit with average caseload of 4-8 patients dependent upon current census. Candidates will be required to have weekend availability as that is one of the main gaps in staffing that we are looking to fill.
