Route Service Representative

The Route Service Representative (RSR) is the face of the company, responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patient specimens, supplies, and materials. This role ensures proper handling, tracking, and storage of items while delivering excellent customer service on assigned routes.

• Safely operate a company vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Pick up and deliver specimens, supplies, and results on schedule.

• Maintain specimen integrity using appropriate storage (frozen, refrigerated, ambient).

• Accurately scan and document pickups using handheld devices.

• Communicate with dispatch and clients to resolve service issues.

• Attend required meetings and complete all training on time.

• Follow company policies regarding safety, conduct, and equipment use.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (max 3 moving violations in 36 months).

• 1 year of driving or delivery experience preferred.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Basic computer and handheld device knowledge.

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 40 lbs).

• Frequent driving, walking, bending, reaching, and standing.

• Ability to work in various weather and lighting conditions.

• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.

• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

• Team player with a positive attitude.
