Description/Comment:
JOB OVERVIEW: The Quality Control Analyst I is responsible for performing routine QC testing of the MicroScan product line per predefined methods, preparing final product quality reports, and ensuring company, industry, and regulatory standards are met . This individual will also be responsible for coordinating daily testing needs within the QC group to ensure testing cycle time is met and reporting of key performance indicators for the department. The job involves close interaction with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Coordinate daily testing needs and report key performance indicators
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lab.
- Follow company guidelines, SOPs, and testing instructions
-Conduct minor troubleshooting on testing equipment
-Maintain lab supply inventory
- Handle and subculture microorganisms
-Use analytical skills to address out-of-specification results
-Complete all assigned training by due date
-Follow laboratory and manufacturing safety rules, including use of PPE
-Review and report test results, escalating any issues promptly
-Dispose of chemical and biological hazardous wastes per company policy.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor s degree in relevant field (or equivalent) with 0+ years work experience in related field.
Work history should include laboratory environment with quality control or quality assurance work experience.
Strong written and verbal communication, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite), ability to problem solve and work independently.
