Description: Job Description for HR Coordinator
Monday to Friday 7-4 PST (Flexible)
100% Remote
Pay: $30.00
Primary Responsibilities
Own the full lifecycle of LOA cases, including documentation, compliance, communication, and case resolution
Review and respond to all leave and disability notices (approvals, denials, extensions, return-to-work) from our third-party administrator, Alight
Maintain accurate leave records in Workday, ensuring alignment with vendor file feeds and internal reporting
Process leave extensions, intermittent leave tracking, and return-to-work certifications in accordance with established standard work
Serve as the primary escalation point for LOA inquiries, triaging complex cases to HRBPs or Legal Employee Relations as appropriate
Other duties as required
Position Requirements
Minimum of 3 years previous HR experience preferred (or combination of HR and Office Manager/Administrative Assistant experience)
Minimum 1+ years of experience in Leave of Absence administration, HR operations, or a related HR compliance function
Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and multi-state leave laws (CA, MA, MN, OR, WA, CT, DC, HI, ME)
Experience with leave management platforms
Proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads with accuracy and empathy
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Sound judgment in handling sensitive, confidential information with discretion
High school diploma required
