Setup, operate, and clear packaging line equipment and/or ancillary support equipment to meet efficiency expectations. Replenish packaging materials like wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, cartons, and labeling systems to include ink, glue and paper. Inspect in-process packaging to endure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material in the process. Segregate finished packaged items from machine that conform to specification and separate rejected items. Conduct inventory count on finished and rejected packaged items. Monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products inaccordance to standards. Monitor the packaging production line to forestall potential bottlenecks, pile-ups, jams, glue not sticking properly or labels being stamp in the wrong location. Place daily emphasis on meeting production standards, achieving product quality standards and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. Know and follow cGMP practices, safe work habits, plant dress code, hygiene standards and housekeeping requirements unusual to the work area and job classification. Perform light-duty maintenance work and general housekeeping in area and assist maintenance or otherteam members in area. It is critical to be on time and available for each scheduled shift.
