Job Title: Associate Technology Engineer
Job Location: South Plainfield, NJ (Hybrid role)
Job Duration: 9-10 Months(possibility of extension )
Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Payrate: $70.00 - $73.00/hr on w2
Job Responsibilities:
- The position will primarily be focus on supporting the building and maintenance of the CYME equipment and Network database.
- Develop one line substation drawing in CYME software. CYME distribution model that integrated with GIS and PI system.
- Experience working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering.
- Design, configuration, development, documentation and testing of CYME Applications solutions to meet business or technology requirements.
- Evaluation of existing CYME application solutions to determine fit for purpose for the new business or technology requirements.
- Recommendation of technology alternatives.
- Collaboration with other individuals to ensure proper integration of the new technology solution with the existing technology solutions.
- Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities by defining business requirements, performing quality assurance & define reporting and alerting requirements.
- Own and develop day to day relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration as well as establish a deep understanding of our customers’ business and functional needs.
- Provide product expertise in regards to functional needs and processes
- Align and support with strategic direction of broader IT organization and identify product enhancements that improve customer experience and simplify current landscape.
- Facilitate and coordinate external benchmarking/best practice efforts and relationships with other business organizations.
- Provide specific contributions as directed by Product Leader.
- Contribute to the strategic vision/plans Maintain and update.
- Bachelors - Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience with ArcGIS, geospatial analysis, SCADA and Python.
