Shift / Location: Warm Springs, VA (Onsite)
Duration: 18 Months (Possibility of extension)
$500 mobilization/demobilization charge is authorized once at beginning and end of assignment.
Per Diem - $178/ per day

Role Overview:
- The GSP Controls Specialist works under the direction of the Project Manager (PM) and Project Controls Coordinator (PCC) to manage financial and contractual components of assigned power station projects. This includes budgeting, forecasting, procurement support, and project tracking using SAP.
Procurement Support:
- Assist in creating and tracking Purchase Order (PO) and Change Order (CO) requisitions
- Maintain logs and track funding, milestones, and key PO/CO dates
- Support monthly cost forecast development and variance tracking
- Obtain and analyze SAP cost reports for projects
- Assist in project closings, asset unitization, and retirement
- Coordinate with PMs, finance, and accounting teams
- Help develop and maintain Project Request Forms (PRFs) and Estimate Requests
- Gather documentation for audits, biennial reviews, and rate filings
- Become proficient in Project Management Filing Structures
- Contribute to other project control tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in project controls and finance; power station experience preferred
- Strong skills in SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerApps)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong analytical skills and process improvement mindset
- Willingness to travel between sites if necessary
