MRI Technologist
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373
Duration: 08/11/2025 – 11/15/2025
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Schedule: 5 days/week, 7 hours/day, 35 hours/week
Schedule Notes: Rotating weekends and holidays required. Must be available for in-person interview and on-site task demonstration.
Pay Range: $67-$69/hr.
Job Summary:
-
Performs MRI procedures ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and quality control.

Screens and interviews patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.

Explains procedures and addresses patient concerns.
-
Positions patients and operates MRI equipment, selecting proper techniques and software parameters.

Maintains cleanliness and organization of MRI rooms and equipment.

Evaluates image quality and ensures proper identification.
-
Uses EMR to document procedures and maintain records.
-
Manages imaging supply inventory.
-
Performs related work as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
One (1) year of MRI experience with relevant equipment – Required
Education:
-
Associate’s degree from a Radiologic Technology program – Required
Licensure & Certifications:
-
Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license – Required

Advanced-level certification from ARRT or ARMRIT – Required
Preferred Certifications:
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA – Preferred
