Functional Responsibilities



The Manager has site management responsibility, both administrative and operational, with direct responsibility for all team members. The main responsibility of the site manager is to manage the team and site to safely execute shipment for our customers to meet their needs. The role is accountable for the performance of the site via productivity metrics, safety metrics, financial audits, OSHA audits, and customer feedback.





(a) The Regional Service Center Manager has overall responsibility for the safe, timely and accurate shipment of all customer orders and consignment orders placed on their RSC. Manage ***M - ***MM inventory investment at their site.



(b) Ensure compliance with *** and local safety requirements including forklift driver certification and wearing of proper PPE. Strengthen a zero incident safety culture.



(c) Drive operational excellence through identification of problems that impede service or add unnecessary cost to the operation. Design improvement programs and work with cross functional teams to implement solutions.



(d) Implement work process best practices and supporting tools, to manage total cost vs. budget at target service level.



(e) Ensure the successful implementation of SAP S/4 Hana WM and TM modules at the site by leading proper data accuracy work, testing and training of the site team, in advance of Go Live.



(f) Support sales goals by delivering and improving the service provided to our customers in a profitable manner. Directly and through delegation answer customer questions and resolve complaints. Coordinate all in-house sales programs, new product releases, building and equipment maintenance, purchasing, and communications.



(g) Set goals and objectives for site performance in line with business goals. Monitor a variety of productivity metrics and design and implements plans to ensure successful attainment of goals. Conduct root cause analysis where required for service failure and identify/implement corrective actions. Ensure all visual boards are up to date with productivity metrics as well as quality and EHS metrics.



(h) Manage and lead the site team to include regular performance reviews, employee training, safety training; resolve issues with support from NA Warehouse Operations Mgr. and HR business partner.



Quals--

A minimum of two years experience in the warehousing/logistics industry. Coatings industry experience is a bonus.

Commitment to customer service and operating safely

Experience leading others.

Ability to manage to a monthly budget

Computer systems knowledge (SAP, Outlook, Microsoft Office)

Basic understanding of warehousing, transportation, and logistics.

Knowledge of handling hazardous materials properly
