Job Summary:

• The PSR II serves as the primary patient-facing role, providing skilled blood draws and specimen preparation for lab testing.
• This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication to create trust and confidence with patients.
• The PSR II follows established procedures for clinical and forensic specimen collection, verifies patient information, and maintains detailed documentation.
• Work environments include doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality blood draws and specimen processing safely and accurately.
• Verify patient demographics and specimen labeling.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Adapt to flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and multiple locations.
• Demonstrate leadership, confidentiality, and process excellence.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification required .
• 3+ years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if required.
