Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Madera, CA 93637
Duration: 6+ months (possible extension)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST
Pay Rate: $22 – $27.20/hr. on W2
 
Role Overview:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the primary point of contact for patients visiting the facility. This role focuses on performing high-quality blood draws, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and maintaining patient trust and confidence while adhering to safety and confidentiality standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical and forensic blood specimen collection and processing accurately and safely.
• Ensure patient comfort during procedures and explain steps clearly.
• Maintain records, documentation, and patient data with accuracy.
• Uphold a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and maintain process excellence.
• Flexibly support staffing needs including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred
• Phlebotomy Certification (required)

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
• 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred
• Customer service experience in retail or healthcare preferred
• Keyboard/data entry skills required

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Skilled in pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
