Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown ICU
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown ICU
Location: New York, NY 10016
Initial Duration: 3+ months (can go much longer term)
Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Range: $65 - $70/hr. on W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Stepdown ICU team to provide comprehensive, high-acuity patient care. The ideal candidate must be proficient in critical care interventions, rapid response handling, ventilator support, and multi-system monitoring, working effectively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Responsibilities:
- Critical Patient Monitoring: Perform continuous assessment and monitoring of unstable patients
- Ventilator & Life Support Management: Operate and monitor mechanical ventilation and life-sustaining devices
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly in code situations and clinical deterioration events
- Assessment & Documentation: Conduct and document detailed assessments, care plans, and response to interventions
- Team Collaboration & Compliance: Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure evidence-based care
License and Certification required:
- New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
