Job Title: HEDIS Medical Record Collector
Location: San Diego, CA - 92039
Duration: 6 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Pay Range: $25 to $25.92 per hour. on W2
Will this role be fully remote? This will be a hybrid role. Candidate will be traveling to pick up medical records from various provider offices and may need to take records to client to be shared.
Are there any specific locations the candidates should be in (i.e., do they need to live in IL) Candidate should reside in San Diego.
What is the expected schedule (include dates/time/timezone):
Monday - Friday 8:00am -4:30pm/8:30am-5:00pm (depending on lunch duration) Pacific Standard Time. Possible weekends and overtime
What are the day to day job duties?:
Check in with manager and team at start of shift, process incoming records, pull EMR, outreach, travel to onsite retrieval based on appointments, scan or download retrieved medical records. And conduct research for locations stating not my patiene.

Job Summary:
- Candidate will need to be in the San Diego CA area.
Job Responsibility:
- Client's Medical Records Collector will work collaboratively in outreaching to providers in order to pursue medical records via phone call, fax, mail, electronic medical record system retrieval and direct onsite pick up, for Medical Record projects.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Under the direction of the national and/or regional lead, the Medical Records Collector supports the annual audit and other Medical Record like audits, by organizing provider outreach, pursuit, collection and upload of provider medical records into the internal database.
- Assisting with project management by coordinating the identification, pursuit and collection of medical records and other data in collaboration with other Medical Record staff.
- Assists the Manager and Supervisor(s) and / or performs the coordination and preparation of the medical record collection process that includes the pursuit via phone call, fax, mail, electronic medical record system retrieval and direct onsite pick up Participates in meetings with vendors for the medical record collection process.
- Collects medical records and reports from provider offices, loads data into the Medical Record application.
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- 1 season/year medical record collection experience.
- 1-year managed care experience.
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years Medical Record data collection experience
