Shift: Mon - Thu 7:30 am - 5:30 pm EST
Friday 7:30 am - 1:30 pm 
Payrate: $21.70 to 24.13/ hr. on w2

Position Summary:


The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients who visit for routine health screenings or important diagnostic decisions. This role is responsible for collecting quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with established procedures.

The PSR II builds trust and confidence with patients by explaining procedures clearly and performing venipuncture in a skilled, safe, and professional manner. This position requires strong leadership behaviors, process excellence, and strict adherence to confidentiality and accuracy standards.

Assignments may include work in a doctor’s office, Patient Service Center (PSC), or other locations based on business needs.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily activities accurately and in a timely manner under the direction of the area supervisor.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.

  • Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient initials/signature after venipuncture to confirm:

    • Specimens were labeled in their presence

    • Name and information on labels are correct

  • Maintain required records and documentation.

  • Promote organizational commitment and maintain a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public.



Job Requirements:

  • Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

  • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

  • Ability to perform capillary collections.

  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts.

  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including dress code, health & safety standards, and company guiding principles.

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on established procedures.

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).

  • Willingness to travel and cover multiple locations with minimal notice.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

  • Demonstrated superior customer service skills.

  • Strong communication skills with patients, peers, and supervisors.

  • Ability to adapt to change and understand business operations.



Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

  • Medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred)

  • Phlebotomy certification (Preferred; Required in CA, NV, and WA)



Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections) – Required

  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment – Preferred

  • Customer service experience in retail or service industry – Preferred

  • Keyboard and data entry experience – Required



Additional Requirements:

  • Resume must include home city and commute time to job site.

  • Pay rate is based on years of direct experience as listed on resume (overlapping roles do not count twice).

  • Candidates must live within a 20–25 minute commute of the assigned work location.

  • Reliable personal transportation is required (bus, Uber, or rideshare services are not considered reliable).

  • Must be punctual, available for scheduled shifts, and able to complete full shifts.

  • Excessive absenteeism or tardiness may result in termination.

  • Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
