Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Boynton Beach, FL
Shift: M-F 6:30am-3:30pm including Saturdays 7:00am-11:00am
Duration:6 months
Overview:
The PSR I is the primary patient contact, responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role requires skillful, safe phlebotomy, clear communication to build patient trust, and strict adherence to confidentiality and accuracy standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing accurately and timely.

Maintain professional, safe, and clean work environment.

Complete required documentation and records.

Provide excellent customer service and uphold a positive company image.

Demonstrate leadership and commitment to process excellence.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Minimum 6 months experience in phlebotomy; 1+ years preferred.

Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills.

Ability to work independently and flexibly, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Reliable transportation and punctual attendance essential.
