Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Bellflower CA 90706
Duration: 5 months Project (Possibility of Extension and conversion based upon performance)
Shift/Time Zone: Monday- Friday 8am- 4:45pm, Rotational Saturdays 8am-1230pm*/ PST
Pay Range: $22 - $27.20
Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) – Phlebotomy
As a Patient Services Representative I (PSR I), you are the face of our company, playing a vital role in patient care. Whether patients visit for routine checkups or critical health insights, you ensure they feel comfortable and confident throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect high-quality blood samples from patients with precision and care.

Prepare and process specimens for lab testing, following standard procedures.

Create a welcoming and professional environment that fosters trust.

Clearly explain procedures to patients, ensuring a smooth experience.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold accuracy in patient records.

Demonstrate leadership, process excellence, and commitment to patient privacy.

Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection with confidence.

Keep accurate documentation and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
What We’re Looking For:

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experience.

Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Independent worker with minimal supervision.

Excellent customer service skills from healthcare, retail, or service environments.

Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry.

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.

Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, and WA).

Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ years preferred).
