Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Hialeah, FL
Shift Time: M-F 7am-3pm Every Saturday 6:30am-11am
Pay Range: $ 17.75/hr - $ 19.75/hr
Overview:
As a Patient Services Representative I (PSR I), you will be the welcoming face of our organization, playing a vital role in patient care. You will collect high-quality blood specimens and ensure they are properly prepared for lab testing. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to build trust with patients will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
Collect and process blood specimens accurately and safely.
Follow all protocols for clinical and forensic specimen collection.
Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
Create a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment.
Communicate procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and confidence.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence.
Operate independently with minimal supervision.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
Medical assistant or paramedic training (PREFERRED)
Experience:
Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED)
1+ years preferred
Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients preferred
Customer service experience in healthcare.
Duration: 6 Months
