Position Summary:
The PSR II is the primary point of contact for patients visiting our facilities for routine health testing or life-defining health decisions. The role involves drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient confidence. The PSR II will demonstrate leadership behaviors, maintain process excellence, and uphold confidentiality standards.

Position Summary:
The PSR II is the primary point of contact for patients visiting our facilities for routine health testing or life-defining health decisions. The role involves drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient confidence. The PSR II will demonstrate leadership behaviors, maintain process excellence, and uphold confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood specimens skillfully from pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
- Verify patient demographic information, including signature verification post-venipuncture.
- Follow established practices and procedures for specimen collection and processing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and colleagues.
- Work independently and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Travel and float to multiple locations as required, including Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy locations.
- Demonstrate superior customer service, transparency in communication, and adaptability to change.
- Comply with all company policies, including dress code, safety, and Everyday Excellence Principles.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry proficiency.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
Education & Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
- Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

- Work Environment: On-site, multiple locations; remote work not eligible.
- Time Zone: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
