Job Title: CT Technologist | Rad Tech
Location: Salinas, CA
Contract Length: 3 Months+ (W2 Contract)
Shift: Evenings / Night (4Day/10hr)
Pay range: $65 – $80/hr.  (Based on experience)
Note: STIPEND IS ALSO PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans (head, chest, spine, abdomen, pelvis, etc.) with minimal supervision.
• Administer contrast media (oral, rectal, IV) and start IVs as needed.
• Operate Toshiba CT equipment and ensure high-quality image capture.
• Assist physicians with specialized procedures including biopsies, cardiac and vascular studies, and 3D reconstructions.
• Perform daily/weekly QA per manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete accurate data entry in ITS, Meditech, PACS, eMar, and Pyxis.
• Provide compassionate care to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Transport and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, and report equipment malfunctions.
• Cross-cover for X-ray as needed.
   

Certifications & Experience Required:

• Active CRT License – California.
• ARRT (CT) Certification – Required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Current and Valid.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed CT technologist.
• 6–12 months of recent Epic EMR experience highly preferred.
• Experience with Toshiba CT equipment is mandatory.
• Must be willing to perform X-ray duties when needed.
• Strong ability to work independently in a clinical setting.
