Shif: Monday to Friday
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company to patients, whether they are visiting for routine health care or for important, life-impacting diagnostic tests. The PSR II is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy, safety, and professionalism at all times. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws, and a high level of customer service.
Successful candidates may be assigned to a doctor’s office, patient service center, or float between locations depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks accurately and timely under supervision of the area supervisor.

Create a safe, clean, and professional environment.

Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing per protocol.

Verify patient demographic information, collect initials and signature post-venipuncture to confirm labeling accuracy.

Maintain complete and accurate documentation and records.

Uphold company image by demonstrating professional behavior and excellent patient interactions.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and commitment to process excellence.

Travel and work at multiple locations as required, sometimes with minimal notice.

Adhere to policies, including dress code, health and safety, and company guiding principles.

Make decisions based on established procedures and use sound judgment.

Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Use EMR systems for data entry and patient tracking.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Work Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
Skills & Competencies:
-
Excellent phlebotomy skills including with pediatric and geriatric patients

Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced setting

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Ability to make sound decisions and problem-solve using established procedures

Strong adaptability and willingness to travel or float to different locations as needed

Knowledge of EMR systems and general office equipment
