Job Title: Cloud Systems Engineer
Work Arrangement:
100% Hybrid (Onsite cadence: Once a week starting in January and for any relevant meetings requiring onsite collaboration)

Job Summary:
Work with our cross-disciplinary team to automate the migrations of customer applications to our cutting-edge cross-cloud hosting infrastructure. In addition to migrations, you'll also work to implement the automation of ongoing monitoring of customer environments as well as internal applications and infrastructure, with the aim of creating a new standard for extremely high levels of reliability and resilience. Set an example for the team of SREs with positive and inclusive leadership and discussion on work, while showing ownership of a major part of the infrastructure.
Essential Functions:

Run production infrastructure, ensuring sites and applications are available within established SLAs.

Improve documentation throughout, explaining the why, not stopping with the what.

Influence ideas and solutions within the Infrastructure Department to reduce workload through automation.

Implement infrastructure as code and automation across all infrastructure environments.

Plan infrastructure growth for increased scale and new applications. Actively seek opportunities to improve availability and performance by applying learnings from monitoring and observation.

Using a data-driven approach, work closely with development/engineering and architecture teams to identify improvements to product reliability, performance, and availability.

Proactively maintain infrastructure and deployed applications to stay ahead of security and compliance requirements.

Operate and maintain existing container platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

Provide emergency response either by being on-call or by reacting to symptoms according to monitoring and escalation protocols when needed.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.

Experience:
-
Minimum 3–5 years in SRE, DevOps, NetOps, or related roles.
-
5+ years preferred in NetOps, SRE, AWS, Kubernetes.
