Phlebotomist II

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our company, engaging directly with patients during routine visits or critical health assessments. This role is responsible for skillfully and safely drawing quality blood specimens for lab testing while providing a professional and compassionate patient experience. PSR IIs work in various settings such as doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or wherever business needs dictate.

• Perform daily activities under the direction of the area supervisor accurately and on time.

• Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant working environment.

• Execute both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, following all protocols and safety procedures.

• Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patient’s presence.

• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.

• Promote a positive, trustworthy image to patients, clients, colleagues, and the general public.

• Provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

• Ensure superior customer focus and communicate transparently with patients and team members.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proven phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric specimen collection.

• Must be flexible and available for various shifts including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Must be committed to company policies, including dress code, safety standards, and quality principles.

• Must use good judgment and decision-making based on established procedures.

• Must have reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record (public transport, rideshare options not considered reliable for this role).

• Able to travel to and work at multiple locations with minimal notice.

• Training location may vary depending on trainer availability.

• High school diploma or equivalent – Required.

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
