Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Phlebotomist I 
Job Location: Miami, FL
Job Duration: 3-4 Months(possibility to extension)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 3:00PM and every other Saturday, 6:30AM - 11:00AM

Job Summary:
  • The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the face of our organization, interacting directly with patients in a clinical setting.
  • This role involves collecting quality blood samples for laboratory testing, ensuring patient comfort, accuracy, and safety throughout the process.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and excellent phlebotomy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform specimen collection and processing duties with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
  • Deliver excellent patient service, ensuring clear communication and building trust.
  • Complete documentation and records in compliance with company procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment to process excellence, confidentiality, and patient data accuracy.
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
Experience:
  • Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED)
  • Keyboard/data entry proficiency required
Certifications:
  • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training a plus
Skills:
  • Strong pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills
  • Ability to perform error-free work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and potential overtime
Additional Requirements:

1. Commute Requirement:
  • Candidates must reside within a 20–25 minute commute of the Miami, FL site. 
2. Transportation:
  • Must have reliable personal transportation (rideshare, bus, or Uber are not considered reliable for this role).
3. Punctuality & Attendance:
  • Timeliness and full-shift attendance are mandatory.
