Job Description:
The GMP Biotechnician will work in a US FDA-registered cGMP manufacturing facility, collaborating closely with departments such as QA and Inventory Control to streamline manufacturing production processes. This role involves vialing, capping, labeling, completing detailed batch records, putting away finished goods, data entry, equipment maintenance, and supply inspections. The position requires strict adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and cGMP regulations.

Job Description:
The GMP Biotechnician will work in a US FDA-registered cGMP manufacturing facility, collaborating closely with departments such as QA and Inventory Control to streamline manufacturing production processes. This role involves vialing, capping, labeling, completing detailed batch records, putting away finished goods, data entry, equipment maintenance, and supply inspections. The position requires strict adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and cGMP regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Vialing and labeling regulated products according to SOPs.
- Maintaining batch records and documentation to ensure compliance with ISO 13485:2016 and MDSAP regulations.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and managing laboratory supplies.
- Receiving materials, inspecting, organizing/labeling, and updating logs.
- Printing labels for final product production.
- Performing general buffer formulation and washing lab glassware.
- Data entry, including scanning and attaching records, creating Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and processing work orders in the ERP system.
- Participating in other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 0–6 months of relevant lab or biotech manufacturing experience (including filling, bottling, or packaging).
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to work in small teams, and meet timelines.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques in a biosafety cabinet.
- Ability to pipette small volumes and perform simple math calculations.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- 2+ years of relevant laboratory or biotech manufacturing experience.
- Experience in the biotechnology industry with knowledge of ISO 13485 or cGMP regulations.
- Advanced pipetting skills.
- Familiarity with raw material supply receiving and inspection processes.
