Job Description:
This is a special project for a footwear developer on the performance basketball team. The role operates in a high-pressure environment that requires the ability to adapt to feedback and quick changes. The developer will take athlete feedback and apply it to make product improvements.
The role focuses on Footwear moments (e.g., All-Star games, WNBA) and creating “newness” with popular footwear (e.g., Rhythm of the Game). The primary responsibility is revamping past models rather than designing new models. The role involves working across all models and collaborating with designers to create uniform, fresh ideas.

Must Haves:
- 3+ years of experience in Technical Product Development for Footwear
- Experience taking creative ideas and implementing them into product while meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to create new product timelines as needed
Nice to Haves:
- Experience liaising with manufacturers and advocating for designers
- Basketball experience and interest
- Managed product development that included multiple iterations, analyzing failures, and making future product improvements
Soft Skills:
- Calm under pressure and adaptable
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Highly collaborative
- Courageous in conversations; able to take risks with designs and provide or receive tough design feedback
