Job Description: NOTES: The manager is looking for someone hands on taking apart equipment and able to work their hands. He is looking for candidates that are more mechanical (instead engineering).

These are the two most important parts of the job description for candidates.

Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures, layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.
Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.

Job description:

The Engineering Technician is responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, set ups and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines as needed and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Role is multidimensional, functioning as a Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician.
This position is part of the Manufacturing Technical Operations and will be in Miami Reagents Manufacturing in Miami, FL.
You will be a part of the Engineering Team and report to the Plant Engineering Supervisor responsible for working closely with our Engineers and production associates supporting line equipment and processes. Continuously working on ways to improve and reduce waste within production processes by improving equipment uptime and completing PMs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Follow engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.
Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures, layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.
Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.

The essential requirements of the job include:
Completing PMs within our AMMS system for multiple sets of equipment to maintain Compliance of Production processes.
5+ years work-related experience or an AA Degree (Technical/Engineering) with 1+ years exp.
Technician may work in Blood exposure/Biohazard areas and must follow all PPE/OSHA guidelines.
