Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Phlebotomist I / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Duration: 4 months
Location: Miami, FL
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm & Rotational Saturday 6:30 am - 10:30 am.

Note: Heavy volume at this site.

Overview:
The PSR I is the face of the company, responsible for drawing blood and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, excellent patient interaction, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process blood samples (including pediatric/geriatric).

• Explain procedures to patients and ensure a safe, professional environment.

• Maintain accurate records and follow standard protocols.

• Uphold patient confidentiality and demonstrate strong customer service.

• Flexibility required for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime shifts.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Medical or phlebotomy training preferred.

  • Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, and WA.

• Experience:

  • 6+ months required; 1+ year preferred.

  • Customer service and data entry experience helpful.

• Skills:

  • Strong phlebotomy and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and stay on schedule.

  • Reliable transportation required.
