Job Title: R&D Technician III
Location: Arden Hills, MN
Duration: 12 Months+ on w2
Pay Range: $35 - $40/hr. on w2
Job Purpose:
Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers and scientists by testing medical devices under development, as well as assisting in development of test methods as a member of the project team.

Job Purpose:
Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers and scientists by testing medical devices under development, as well as assisting in development of test methods as a member of the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of R&D bench testing independently with reliable, high-quality results.
- Ability to work with written product test methods as well as verbal instructions.
- Assisting engineering staff in the development of R&D test methods.
- Summarizing experiment outcomes for engineering staff, including creation of datasheets and archiving experiment data.
- Receiving work direction from multiple engineers and managing workload appropriately.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities: - Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
- Experience performing product testing in a regulated industry.
- Experience with documenting test results.
- Experience with technical writing, including but not limited to device test methods or device build instructions.
- Medical device industry experience.
- Experience with test method development and validation, including test fixturing design (SolidWorks certification preferred).
- Ability to perform rudimentary device failure analysis.
