Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist
Job Location: Santa Fe, NM
Job Duration: 3+ Months Contract (Possibilities of Extension)

Note: Candidate must reside outside 50 miles radius from the facility

Shift:

• Day Shift (6:30AM – 3PM) with Call requirement
• 5days/week (40Hrs/Week)
   

Job Summary:
An integral member of the surgical team who provides support for surgeons throughout the operation by preparing, providing, and caring for instruments and equipment and maintaining a sterile field.
 
Certification/Licenses:

• BLS certification required.
• Surgical Tech certification required.

 
Skills:

• Knowledge of care and handling of instruments and equipment. Knowledge of sterilization and cleansing procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.

 
Experience:

• One or more years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting in the operating room or an instrument care environment preferred.

 
Nature of supervision:
Responsible to: Clinical Manager Operating Room and Director, Surgical Services
