Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Pasadena, TX
Duration: 4 months
Shift: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm

Job Summary:
The PSR II is the face of our company, responsible for collecting and preparing high-quality blood specimens for lab testing. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, strong patient interaction, and the ability to work in fast-paced healthcare settings such as patient service centers or doctor’s offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform safe and accurate blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric patients

• Explain procedures clearly and build trust with patients

• Verify patient identity and ensure proper specimen labeling

• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards

• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection per protocols

• Support site operations by maintaining a clean, professional, and safe environment

• Adapt to schedule and location changes as business needs dictate

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

• Medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred)

• Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws

• 2+ years of pediatric phlebotomy experience (Required)

• Customer service or retail experience (Preferred)

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overtime

• Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
