Position Description
Performs analyses in hematology, chemistry urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology according to expected performance standards. Performs analyses in hematology, chemistry urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology according to expected performance standards. Performs venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick on identified patients by physician's request in a timely, accurate and caring manner. Keeps documented records current regarding maintenance and quality control. Meets the lab service goals as scheduled or report problems to lab director. Promotes adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues. Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Facility Requirements:

• A minimum of an Associate's degree in Applied Science, Chemical or Biology Sciences or Medical Laboratory Technology
• Must have ASCP or AMT certification, must be attached to the submission
• Must have 2 years recent experience in Generalist, phlebotomist, ability to work alone, blood bank, gram stains, body fluid analysis, micro a plus
• This will be rotating 12 hour shifts for nights; 36 hours week one of pay period (Sun, Weds, Thurs) & 48 hours week two of pay period (Weds, Thurs, Friday, Sat, Sun); 5 consecutive days off every other week.
