Procurement Coordinator

Careers Integrated Resources Inc Golden, CO (Onsite) Contractor

The Procurement Coordinator is an entry-level role that supports OpCos supply chain operations by ensuring timely procurement of materials, effective inventory management, and strong supplier performance. This position plays a critical role in supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations by improving purchasing execution, inventory accuracy, and cross-functional coordination. This role will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to address current procurement and material availability challenges and help improve on-time delivery performance.

This position is located in Golden, CO. This will be a 100% on-site role.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (MDT) (20hs within that schedule to be coordinated with the hiring manager)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Place purchase orders, manage blanket orders, and maintain accurate purchasing records within the ERP system.
  • Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet established inventory targets while minimizing stockouts, excess inventory, and risk of obsolescence.
  • Expedite purchase orders as required to resolve supply constraints impacting manufacturing schedules.
  • Ensure ERP (D365, Syspro) remain accurate and up to date.
  • Develop, maintain, and print controlled labels for Certified Reference Material (CRM) and Proficiency Testing (PT) products in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Work with Finance to correctly attribute material and procurement-related costs across the site.
  • Support planning as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in a buying, planning, procurement, or inventory-related role (internships or co-op experience may be considered).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, formulas, basic reporting).
  • Working understanding of MRP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / AX strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Knowledge of computer-based laboratory information management systems and data management and processing techniques.
  • Excellent time management skills, laboratory safety practices and procedures.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications beyond Excel (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator (label creation or controlled documentation).
  • Exposure to inventory optimization, cycle counting, or KPI tracking.
  • Interest in supply chain process improvement and operational excellence.
