Phlebotomist II
Duration: 6 months
Location: Cumming GA
Shift: 7:30-4:30 EST
Overview:
The PSR II represents the face of the company to patients. This role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring a safe, professional, and positive patient experience. The PSR II works with minimal supervision and demonstrates leadership behaviors, strong phlebotomy skills, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervisor direction.

Maintain a safe, professional, and clean environment.

Execute clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties with confidence.

Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens post-venipuncture.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.
-
Promote a positive and professional image to patients, clients, and the public.

Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and confidence.

Work at a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations as needed.
Job Requirements:

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Reliable, punctual, and available for scheduled shifts (weekends, holidays, overtime, on-call).

Adherence to all company policies, including dress code and health & safety.

Good judgment and decision-making based on established procedures.

Strong customer focus and communication skills.

Ability to multitask in high-volume settings.

Willingness to travel and cover multiple locations with minimal notice.
Transportation Requirements:

Must have reliable personal transportation (rideshare/bus/uber NOT accepted).

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if applicable).

Must reside within 20–25 minutes commute from the worksite.
Education Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED
Experience Requirements:
-
3 years of phlebotomy experience REQUIRED.

Must list home city and commute time to job site on resume.

Pay rate is based on direct experience only (overlapping roles don’t count twice).

Candidate must be punctual, able to stay for the full shift, and avoid excessive absenteeism or tardiness (will result in termination).
