Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Job Location: Miami, FL 33184
Job Duration: 3 months+ (with a high chance of extension)
 
Shift hours: Mon - Fri 6:00 AM – 02:00 PM. Rotating Saturdays 6:30 am - 10:30 am.
 
Job Description:

• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.

• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Minimum 12 months’ phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Candidates must Speak English fluently. (Bilingual Preferred)
• Candidates must be willing to travel to a different location as needed
