Sr. Technical Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on SAP Developer & Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions across our enterprise landscape. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ABAP, Fiori/UI5, Web Services, APIs, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), with a strong understanding of security, integration architecture, and S/4HANA. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering at least three full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
Open to a few travels as well as flexibility in work hours.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical architecture design and development of SAP solutions across modules and platforms by working with IT functional teams to deliver set goals.
• Hands-on develop and maintain custom applications using ABAP, OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, OData services, and SOAP web services for seamless integration with external systems.
• Architect and deploy solutions on SAP BTP, including CAP, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), and Workflow Services.
• Drive and manage SAP system upgrades, enhancement packs, and support package stacks to ensure platform stability and access to the latest features.
• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of SAP applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Basis and Infrastructure teams to plan and execute system refreshes, patching, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure compliance with SAP security best practices, including role-based access control, secure coding, and data protection.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and consultants.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex SAP issues.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
• Manage as well as support and work with the project leader the full lifecycle of SAP development projects, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and post-go-live support.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay current with SAP innovations, particularly in S/4HANA, BTP, and Fiori technologies, and evaluate their applicability to business needs.
