Shift: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the front-line representative of the organization, responsible for engaging with patients during routine and critical healthcare visits. The PSR II performs skilled blood specimen collection, prepares samples for lab testing, and ensures every interaction fosters trust, safety, and accuracy. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership behaviors, process excellence, attention to confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily specimen collection and processing duties accurately and on schedule, under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.

Confidently perform forensic and clinical blood collection procedures, including:
-
Venipuncture
-
Capillary draws
-
Pediatric and geriatric collections
-

Verify patient identity and demographics prior to and post-venipuncture.
-
Ensure specimens are labeled in the patient’s presence and verify accuracy.

Maintain required documentation and records.
-
Clearly explain collection procedures to patients and help ease concerns.

Uphold and promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.

Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors and process excellence in daily tasks.
Job Requirements:

Produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Proven phlebotomy expertise, including pediatric and geriatric patients.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED
Work Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRE

Pay rate is based on years of direct, non-overlapping phlebotomy experience per the Southeast rate card (refer to Broadleaf guidelines).

Training locations may vary depending on trainer availability.
