Duration: 12 months (Possible for Extension)
Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee annual hardware lifecycle projects, including desktop, laptop, rugged laptop, and multi-function device replacements.
- The ideal candidate will have a background in managing technology refresh projects, operating system upgrades, and coordinating large-scale deployments while ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage yearly hardware lifecycle replacement projects:
- Desktops and laptops
- Rugged laptops
- Multi-function printing devices
- Coordinate and track OS upgrade initiatives as needed.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Use Microsoft Excel to manage project financials, reporting, and scheduling inputs.
- Utilize Microsoft Project / Planner for project planning, monitoring, and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
- Prepare and present regular status reports on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and security requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in project management, specifically in hardware refresh and OS upgrade projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, Planner, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- CSAM/CHAMP certification preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing vendor relationships for hardware lifecycle replacements.
- Strong financial management and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
