Job Duration: 2+ months of contract with possible extension / Temp to Hire
3rd Shift: Tue- Sat (12:00 am - 8:30 am) with rotating Sat
Pay Rate: $24.14/hr on W2
 
Job Description:
The Specimen Processor is responsible for handling and processing a variety of biological samples, including blood, urine, stool, plasma, and other bodily fluids. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and label specimens accurately.
• Perform centrifugation and aliquoting of samples as required.
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking of specimens.
• Enter patient and specimen data accurately into the system.
• Maintain specimen integrity by following proper handling procedures.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and quality standards in a biohazard environment.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with regulations.

 
Qualifications:

• Experience handling biological samples in a laboratory or clinical setting.
• Strong data entry and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of specimen handling, labeling, and processing procedures.
