Job Title: Data Analyst
Job Location: Irwindale, CA(Onsite)
Job Duration: 18+ Months(Possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $30 - $35/Hr. on W2
Job Summary:
- The Data Analyst – Customer Generation Programs (CGP) will support renewable energy programs and incentives by leveraging data visualization, analysis, and reporting skills. This role involves developing and maintaining CGP dashboards, consulting with leadership on strategic data insights, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- The ideal candidate will provide data-driven recommendations to enhance program effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI, SAS Visual Analytics, and other tools to support CGP initiatives.
- Conduct data extraction, validation, and analysis to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on performance data analysis for renewable energy programs and incentives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve interconnection and incentives programs through data-driven insights.
- Manage data validation procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting.
- Generate periodic reports and provide insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Work on process automation to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience using the Microsoft platform (including Power BI) for data visualization and analysis. (Certification in MS tools preferred.)
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and SAP (customer and billing modules preferred).
- Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and extracting insights from large datasets.
- Experience in reporting periodic data from various sources for stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data validation procedures to ensure accuracy.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with data warehousing, extraction tools, and statistical forecasting.
- Familiarity with Business Objects (BOBJ), Alteryx, Snowflake, SAS Enterprise Guide, and data engineering concepts.
- Ability to automate processes and improve workflow efficiency.
- Strong team player with a problem-solving mindset and ability to contribute innovative ideas.
