Job Title: Printed Packaging Specialist
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45202
Duration: 5 months + (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $40/Hr. on W2
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the global print supply chain from design through production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and effective resolution of print-related issues. This role collaborates cross-functionally and with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in print quality and packaging outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end print supply chain, from design to production, ensuring consistent quality standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, MPD, and Package Development for printer/supplier evaluations.
- Ensure alignment and adherence to Print Quality Programs across internal teams and external suppliers.
- Lead regular business reviews with suppliers, tracking performance and addressing gaps.
- Develop and implement improvement plans and supplier scorecards to enhance print quality.
- Conduct and lead root cause analysis of print quality issues in collaboration with Package Development teams.
- Leverage knowledge of pre-press, packaging software, and digital technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of print supply chain processes (design to production).
- Experience with print quality management and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of pre-press processes, packaging technologies, and digital tools.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
