Additional Context About the Role:
This role will focus on the following activities, in order of importance:

Interns:
- Experience working with college interns and willingness to work with high school interns.
- Coordinate intern recruitment and selection, including reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
- Coordinate mentor recruitment, interviewing, and training.

Audit Support:
- Experience testing department controls and performing audit remediation follow-ups.
- Coordinate audit responses, including research, information gathering, drafting, and submitting responses.

Research:
- Experience performing research using internal department or company databases to respond to audits, legal requests, or compliance inquiries.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience providing Level 1 support for operational, technical, and process issues (tools, resources, process guidance).

Policy & Guidelines:
- Support corporate and department policy and guideline work (research, information gathering, drafting policy).
- College degree in library or information sciences OR previous experience as a business or legal librarian.
- No preferred qualifications related to reporting (SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx) are required.

The role may include responsibilities such as:
- Supporting daily operations of PSS tools and personnel.
- Analyzing complex business problems and providing actionable insights.
- Producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
- Supporting innovation efforts to improve and expand PSS services and processes.
- Managing, creating, organizing, and delivering knowledge assets for PSS.
- Directing department communication and training for PSS.
Job Description:
- Work with PSS (Category Teams and SRG) and other business areas to define needs, strategy, and business requirements, producing project plans/proposals.
- Provide consultation to PSS and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues or information needs.
- Improve PSS processes using best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues.
- Address user issues related to e-Procurement systems and tools.
- Integrate solutions across multiple systems.
- Develop and deploy large-scale applications and collaborate with business/divisional data teams to generate actionable analysis and reports.
- Gather, clean, and analyze data to prepare reports and insights for stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement programs, including strategic planning, root cause analysis, and metrics validation.
- Develop in-depth market intelligence materials to support PSS Category Teams.
- Use business intelligence secondary sources (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, Everest Group) to respond to research requests.
- Provide user instruction and organize internal knowledge stores, ensuring compliance with Client policy and knowledge management best practices.
- Plan, deploy, configure, and manage secure Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites to promote collaboration and communication.
- Write and edit communication materials for internal/external audiences.
- Facilitate and deliver training using adult learning principles and effective facilitation techniques, in both classroom and remote settings.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of relevant experience OR 6 years of experience in business development, business analysis, or innovation management.
- 0–2 years of progressive experience in indirect procurement, supply-chain management, supplier management, or category management.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.
- Adaptable with initiative to learn new systems and tools.
- Strategic and innovative thinker with ability to influence business areas.
- Strong executive presence with excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Consistent thought leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Gartner, Forrester, Everest Group).
- Knowledge of Client organization and health insurance industry (AHIP certification a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Math, Economics, Finance, Communications, Marketing, or Training.
- Master’s degree in Library or Information Science.
- Knowledge of e-Procurement systems (Zip, Oracle, DocuSign, Jaggaer).
- Knowledge or experience with SQL and Python (preferred).
- Knowledge or experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Advanced Excel skills including PowerQuery.
- Experience with Tableau Prep Builder or Alteryx preferred.
- Experience validating data and report visuals.
- Knowledge or experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C#).
- Experience with or certification in Microsoft 365 Collaboration Apps (SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams).
