Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Manhattan, NYC, NY 10005 United States (Hybrid role with coming to the office on Tuesdays)
Job Type: Contract
Job Duration: Approx. 06 months (High possibility of longer extensions)
Client: Public Sector Direct Client
Rate: $50 - $70/hr. on W2 (Somewhat negotiable)

We need this Senior Network Engineer to have extensive IMPLEMENTATION experience with Cisco Nexus, Cisco wireless, Aruba switches(nice to have), and Cisco 9000 series, Cisco Firepower. All experience deploying from scratch.

Job Description:
- Extensive hands-on implementation experience with Cisco Nexus series switches, including full lifecycle deployments from initial configuration to production rollout.
- Proven track record of deploying Cisco wireless solutions from scratch, ensuring optimal performance, security, and seamless connectivity across enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with Cisco 9000 series switches, including setup, configuration, and integration into complex network infrastructures.
- Skilled in Cisco Firepower implementation, including firewall configuration, security policy enforcement, and integration with existing security frameworks.
- Experience with Aruba switches is a nice-to-have, especially in hybrid network environments requiring cross-platform deployment and interoperability.
