Phlebotomist I

The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients, whether they are undergoing routine health evaluations or seeking critical health information. This role involves drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for laboratory testing while following established procedures. The PSR I creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence by providing professional and compassionate care during specimen collection.

• Perform daily activities accurately and timely under the supervision of the area supervisor.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

• Confidently and skillfully perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.

• Ensure all records and documentation are accurate and maintained as required.

• Interact with patients, clients, coworkers, and the public in a positive and professional manner.

• Follow established practices and procedures to ensure high-quality, error-free results.

• Use straight needles and an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) program effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

• Minimum 6 months of related experience required

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Sensitivity to patient confidentiality

• Proficiency with EMR systems

• Must be comfortable using straight needles

• Flexible availability based on staffing needs

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as required
