Duration: 12 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Job Summary:
The Scientist I – R&D will perform analytical testing to support pharmaceutical process development. Working within an interdisciplinary team, the scientist will contribute technical expertise to projects while learning and applying new skills to ensure the potency, performance, and safety of pharmaceutical products.

Job Summary:
The Scientist I – R&D will perform analytical testing to support pharmaceutical process development. Working within an interdisciplinary team, the scientist will contribute technical expertise to projects while learning and applying new skills to ensure the potency, performance, and safety of pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing to assess potency, performance, and safety of new pharmaceutical products
- Interpret client documents and literature to develop strategies for method development, qualification, and method transfer activities
- Analyze analytical data and collaborate with the analytical team for method lifecycle review
- Communicate findings to a multi-disciplinary team including upstream/downstream process development scientists, quality control/assurance, process engineers, and customers
- Prepare samples and standard solutions using analytical laboratory techniques for accurate and efficient analysis
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Technical expertise in analytical assessment of pharmaceutical products and raw materials, including HPLC, GC, and Mass Spectrometry
- Ability to work independently with strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills
- Experience working in a GxP environment following ALCOA+ documentation practices
- High attention to detail and strong desire to learn new skills
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Experience requirements:
- B.S. or M.S.: 2–3 years of experience
- Ph.D.: 0–1 year of experience
